Tina Tobar, is a passionate and experienced hairstylist with 18 years in the beauty industry. A city girl, born and raised in Chicago, she discovered her love for hair and all things beauty at the early age of 12. Since then, Tina has cultivated a successful career specializing in women’s haircuts, bridal styling, a variety of extension methods and balayage color (currently Not taking NEW Color Clients. She is continuously learning and staying inspired by the latest beauty trends through social media, hair classes, and fellow artists. Before recently venturing out on her own, Tina worked in luxury salons in Chicago’s beautiful Gold Coast area for the past two decades. Having earned a strong reputation, Tina is best known for her creative work in the bridal beauty industry, where her attention to detail, flexibility, and dedication have made her a sought-after stylist. Her work has been featured in Modern Luxury Weddings Chicago, Chicago Splash, and CS Magazine. She has had the opportunity to collaborate with celebrities such as Katie Holmes, Giuliana Rancic, Arianna Huffington, Chrissy Teigen, makeup artist Bobbi Brown, Fran Drescher, Sam Taylor-Johnson, Stella Arroyave, and more. Tina has also done hair for a runway show for photographer Victor Skrebneski. Beyond being a hairstylist, Tina is dedicated to maintaining a healthy, balanced lifestyle by staying active and eating well. She enjoys hot yoga, Pilates, and HIIT boxing classes. She would love to travel more, attend more yoga retreats and enjoys exploring new restaurants with friends or spending time with her family.
